For Gods Sake What's this Passengers Side Safety Handle (EG)

Hay guys

Well I've tried and tried to get/find out what part number my EG5 VTi Passengers Side Safety Handle is?

No one so far has seen this type of handle on EG5's

Even Honbits are of the opinion that the handle is genuine and the interior lining hasn’t been removed or modded but they've never seen one before me lol..

The clips covering the bolts are broken and all crap

Pics of the handl along side the handle most other EGs have


Mines the longer one that's spring loaded unlike the normal solid shaped one



Admin's please don't move this to the WB forum as I've tried for a long time without any luck plus I'd like to know why my Civic has this wired handle

Oh and my Comp Plants VIN Number come up with DOHC at honda

Maybe for some reason it is from a two door rather than a three door?

What year is it? Can do some more hunting for you .

93 EG5 Compliance 94 VTi Hatchback D16Y1 SOHC but my Compliance plates say otherwise

Anyone know what EG6 handles look like?

I've been to Honda and they don't have any handles like that for EG's

The part number for what they call the 'grab rail' cap is 83422-SH3-000ZS.

Im thinking its a VTi thing as everyone who replied has a vti,
try asking hnda for the part make sure u tell them its for a VTI
