Civic 06 prices .. anyone already put a deposit or buy one?

just got the news that, iwill be getting my car in dec. she toldme that it will be 07 model but i willbe getting in in mid of dec..
Should i have to be worried abt anything .. other than that i am pretty happy to get a car one month earlier but i dont want to be in 06 model . she told me that it will be 06 manufactured but 07 model ..

Guys what u think .. i am confused......

make sure you ask that "if" you do sell your car, whether you would sell it as an 06 or an 07 model. That way, you sort of know what you're really getting.

Hey asgr8, I was told the same thing as well. I'm due to get my black civic vti 07 model end dec or early jan. From what I understand, theres nothing to worry about. In fact we're better off cos when we do eventually sell the car it would be an 07, not an 06. The 07 Model is just a facelifted '06, That's all, specs are still the same.

As for how it looks, I have no idea and surprisingly neither did the sales guy at honda. Somehow i havent been able to find any pictures of the 07 JDM civic, only the US version. If any one here has stumbled across a pic of the 07 model or has a clue as to what the facelifts are, would be much appreciated if you could post here.

if u get ur civic in dec, it will be a november 06 build and dec 06 compliance!
If u get it in jan, it will be better coz it will be dec 06 build and jan 07 compliance!

Personaly if these dates matter to u i would wait till feb to get a true 07/07 civic!

if ur gettin the 07 model in dec 06 when u go to sell ur car it wi9ll still be an 06 model, valuers only look at the compliance date!

Can somebody fill me in,
after seeing numerous 06'ers, ive noticed some Vti's have chrome door handles and side mouldings, and some dont
The official honda website says its on all 3 models

Im just wondering why some members vti's dont actually have them

i think such item can't get from OEM honda part, but as i know somewhere get there for sale, e.g. SG...

did you guys know that it takes roughly 20hrs to make a civic from sheet metal to fang material?
