    aem v2 intake

after lots of searching, i couldnt find the AEM V2 Intake to fit EK4 as the models listed where EX, DX, DEL SOL VTEC etc. (USDM Models)

I tried searching using the CIVIC DEL SOL VTEC model and there was no application for the AEM V2 Intake.

Just wondering anyone out there with an ek4 with an AEM V2 Intake and issit a CAI that extends the filter outside then engine bay?

And also which model did you go with EX, DX etc......

    cheers

I suspect it is 24-6014 as the USDM 99-00 Civic Si had the b16a2.

hey thanks aaronng for the quick reply. another quick question. if its for 99-00 civic si will it fit the 96 ek4 just as well since the 99-00 shape has different front im wondering if it will affect the way the filter sits?

You are talking about AUDM. This AEM V2 is for USDM. Differences in facelift is the least of your worries. That said, the difference in the front between a 96 and 99 EK4 is probably just the front bar.

It's a tuned dual chamber design. They must have found that it was the best design they could come up for Hondas.

99-00 si intake should fit all ek vtec's.

its thicker in the middle that at the neck because it is a dual chamber system.

uses sound waves to charge the cylinders with more air or something. dunno how it works exactly but its designed like that coz it makes more power.
