At the moment it is untouched but we should have it match ported to the 70mm TB soon.
Just got back from the strip... no pb today. We did a best of a 12.3 and a best mph of 115. The car still isn't tuned and the intake pipe wasn't attached proplerly. We rapmed the car on the dyno and it made more power everywhere so we should have more improvements once it is tuned. The car now spins all through second gear down the quarter where it never did that before. It's beginning to be a real handful getting the launch right. But enough of the excuses.. we should be out next wednesday to try again!

Just got word from my brother Glenn he got a pb but not an 11 .
It ran a 12.02 @ 115.47mph. The good news is that we've finally figured out how to get a good launch out of our car with semis. First 60ft was 1.835 and the second was a 1.848. The bad news is that we broke cv number 8!
The car was tuned with the new manifold and seemed to make more power but couldn't get a power comparison. Plus we changed the intake which may explain the mph. Oh well... until next year.

Can't wait for the next 10 days to be over then it will be "next Year" and we can get more updates. Doesn't .03 seem to be ages when you need it to get an 11 sec???
Yeah that .03 is a killer.. I don't know why but it is always seems to be difficult to break into the et second bracket that your aiming for.. I remember running a nissan silvia ca18det years ago with a 15 flat and never getting a 14.
Next time we run should be 10th Jan because of Nationals and that's if we get another cv by then and sort out the tune. fingers crossed!
