need help with carbon fiber bonnet fitting

    hi guys i need help

i just bought a carbon fiber bonet for my integra. but however the bonnet wont close totally. cos is too lite, is not like the oem stock bonnet. i will need to fit 2 bonnet pins, my question is: where will i drill the 2 holes to connect the bonnet pins in???

my carbon fiber bonnet does not even close probably at all cos it too light, with the oem stock bonnet i have to slam it for it to close

anyway here is the pix of the car now, i jus tfinish ,and is alredy dark,so the pix is really relly bad quality

damn looking goot, you should ask the people were ever u got the bonnet from to fix the problem with your bonnet because they didnt do the job propely =/
May i ask you wat are u doing to your car next?

hmm think i saw ur car parked at N1 distribution down westall rd?... why not ask 'em

when u say "WONT CLOSE ALL THE WAY" is there no latch?... does it close? or just hover slightly about the latch... whats causing it to get stuck...

sounds like the latch isnt letting u close it all the way down?

fitment wise.. it all lines up around the sides evenly etc?

is not stuck. is just that the carbon fiber bonnet is too lite, it just hover above the latch.

with my oem bonnet i have to slame it, most honda u have to ,with my civic same problem, i have to hold it about 30cm high then drop it for bonnet for it to close all the way.

BUT NOW THE CARBON FIBER IS TOO LITE, it cannot close.

Push the bonnet down with the palm of your hand, push on the bonnet where the latch would be connecting to the bonnet at the end so you dont stress the carbon in the bonnet..

Never drop a carbon bonnet to close it.

Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
