    The RE001 was quicker around the track by 2 secs compared to the control tyre S03. So you cant argue about bang for your buck

    205/50/15 is closer to the stock rolling diameter than 195/50/15 would be(assuming the eg was similar to the ek's)
    the sidewall is slightly taller on the 205/15 than on the 195/50 too, it makes a difference

    195/50/15 for $110 per tire. super special discount at BTC on princes highway. I just got mine put in the other day! Running them in now...

    is there any difference between the Australian made vs. the Japanese made? I bought my RE001's abt 4 months ago.. was really stoked!

    no such thing as "aussie made" - sll re001's are made in japan.

    look on the sidewall it clearly states "made in japan".

    You are wrong Ben. My understanding is the first original batch were Japanese, and now the latter is produced localled, for the aussie market.

    Mine are Aussie made - it says it on the tyre

    I noticed the finish wasn't as nice as my japanese made yoko s-drives. however they still grip well and seldom squeel.
