    Boot Release not working.

Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong.
Recently purchased a 2012 Euro luxury, and am having a problem opening my boot.
The only way I can open the boot is with the button on the fob key.
The push button on the drivers door, and the rubber button at the centre of the boot at the rear, will NOT work.
Is there a master over ride lock for the boot or is there a switch broken somewhere ?????

If I remember correctly if there's a keyhole where the boot release is next to driver seat. You'll have to "unlock" that with the key before the button would work on the boot

Yes my 2003 Euro had the boot lock keyhole by the drivers seat, but no such thing on my 2012.

Have you double pressed the unlock button from your key?

Yes I have. Still doesn't work. Might have to take it to the dealership.

Is there an override button inside the boot itself? 2003-2007 CL9's had that near the boot interior light, not sure if the same is there for CU2. It basically isolated any electrical switches to open the boot and only allowed it to be opened using the remote.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I appreciate it. But unfortunately no over ride button in the boot.

    Hi Falco,

The master switch for the boot is located in the right hand side of the glovebox if I recall correctly.
