The Accord is just a daily that I'm tryin to make into a classy daily - so it will hardly ever (if at all) see rpm of 3000+.

As for the resonator delete at an exhaust shop, won't that make the sound more raspy and tinny like a teeny tiny motorbike?

Yes,please dont just remove the resonators...

2.25 piping with either a very long resonator

    or straight through muffler

and for the rear,a sport muffler with a decent sized body to it,not a cannon

I found a 2.5" cat back setup on eBay for roughly $120 postage included. It had a hotdog resonator and also what I assume to be a straight through muffler with a tip on it. No details on the muffler itself were given though, only that it was infact included and welded to the 2.5" piping with mounts/hangers (specific to the car) welded also - with a 4" tip.

Any thoughts? Baring in mind the minuscule budget and desire only for a deeper note and not huge performance gains, that is...

Why not do what we suggested? With the a new air intake
Piping would only be $30? And a pod filter another $20?
    Don't buy ebay crap...

Jesus how do you get around
Your fuel consumption must be kind of bad and i feel sorry for your f22b2 as its always under alot of load around the 1500-2000rpm mark
Take it over 4000rpms and hear the engine come to life
