    DC2R or DC5R

Hi guys, in the next year or so im hoping i will be able to get a integra type R. I like the look of the DC5R yet alot of ppl tell me the DC2R is actually a better car. The DC5R has a bigger engine and more power and thats why I was wanting one of these over a DC2R. Whats your opionions on the two, tell me some disadvantages and advantages of both? Another is looking at DC2R alot are gettin high km's on them now and this was also turning me away from them.

    A) Do a search on here for similar threads
    B) Take both for a drive an see which one you like better
    C) Your the one buying the car, so your the one that has to like it better

Personally, I think the DC5R takes to modifications better then a DC2R, That and the B-series engine is about 20 years old... so is quiet dated. that's why i chose my car... also think they look better.

But i do rate the DC2R (Stock for stock), and understand why it has been voted one of the best FWD cars ever produced.

The way i see it, the only reason you'd get a DC2 (or any kind of civic for that matter), is if you can't afford a DC5. Performance-wise, there'll be negligible differences. Especially when considering mods. Therefore, I stipulate that you're better off choosing the one with the better looking chassis.

    So what tickles your fancy?

A box on wheels with small beady eyes and a long flat nose that collided with Keira Knightley's chest?

    or a DC5 Integra Type R?

I recon the DC2R all the way, but if the DC5R has the mugen front bar, skirts and spoiler it beats the DC2R, but only with those mods!

Take both out for a drive, they're both pretty different in nature...

If the DC2R is a box on wheels with small beady eyes and a long flat nose that collided with Keira Knightley's chest... The DC5R is Keira Knightly with a push up bra and eyelashes slanted and eyes like Asian 16:9 with Botox injection lol...
