Quick Access to State Specific threads

    Hi all,

Just working on some updates to the navigation bar at the top and thought you might find this feature handy.

You can now quickly access threads relating to your state for either the Upcoming Events, Parts for Sale or Cars for Sale forums.

Simply click on the Regional link on the navbar up the top and then the appropriate option.

Note that this only works for threads that have a prefix. Threads created in the respective forums MUST have a prefix so this is not a problem (except the traders forum). If however a thread is moved into one of the above forums then a prefix will need to be added (moderators usually do this).

Any comments / feedbak let me know...but this should make accessing threads relating to your particular location easier to access.

wouldnt it be less resource consuming to have the parts FS and cars FS sections sorted into states now?

since u put them in the main menu, people will obviously use that now instead of clicking onto the general section where all the threads are not sorted by state

so thats a massive new drain on the search feature, wouldnt it be easier if they were sorted into states as subforums instead of having to use search everytime?

its too cluttered on the main forum page if you break up it like that.
the drop down menu is far easier. you'll just need to get used to it.

lol, its not about me getting used to it or not

its going to be a massive drain on the search function as people will always want to see FS threads sorted by state

this will prob slow the system down for people actually using the search function

and 5 small font subforums wont clutter anything, similar look to the accord euro subforum

but yeh, i couldnt care less, i rarely go in the FS section anyway, just making an observation

Its probably indexed already so it wont drain search.

    Great idea (Y)
