    Hey,
Looking at a 94' Accord. Just looking to find out any differences between the Exi, and the Vti. I have found a real nice Exi with low k's, and a Vti with more K's for the same price. Could someone just fill me in a bit here? That would be great. Thanks.

    Exi has 2.2L non-vtec engine i think.
    Vti is 2.2L SOHC Vtec.

Exi has cloth trim, not sure if Vti has leather, but i kno Vti-S has leather.

    This is from www.redbook.com.au:

Vti - 6 Speaker Stereo, Air Conditioning, Alloy Wheels, Body Colour - Bumpers, Central Locking, Cruise Control, Electric Seat - Drivers, Power Steering, Power Windows - Front & Rear, Radio Cassette, Sunroof

Exi - 4 Speaker Stereo, Air Conditioning, Body Colour - Bumpers, Central Locking, Power Steering, Power Windows - Front & Rear, Radio Cassette

i believe the EXi also has drum brakes in the rear and no rear sway bar, among other things...the VTi and VTi-S are worth the extra IMO

pete.. Exi's don't have drums on the rear

i've got an EXI with disc's on the back
also i got the crappy non VTEC 2.2 litre..

    and i got a Vti-S too

i prefer the Vti-s for a cruiser spec..
Exi for more of a racing spec

VTI-s: looks beta, more thing to fiddle round with.airbags.ABS.alloys..Leather..Climate..Sunroof .. ETC

    EXi: there no sunroof..
looks more plain and standard and u get no alloys

eh i guess we got a better base model than other countries then, as others have drums in the rear standard

Not sure - the 94 accords in NZ all have rear disc brakes except the LXi. Here's a rough comparison from Honda spec sheets.

    LXi - Base Model
EXi - all lxi plus ABS, rear disc, alloys, color coded mirrors, height adjustable seats
Exi-S - all exi plus aircon, leather, remote lock, 6 disc changer
VTI-S - all exis plus vtec, driver's airbag, sunroof, cruise, 6 speaker, color coded door mouldings, leather trim steering wheel.

I thought ABS was only on the VTI-S. Cause when i was doing my advnace driving course at Ian Luff's, there was an EXI which did not have ABS.

I may be wrong, but i'm pretty sure it was an EXI.
