Red license plate with ep-3xxx.

i second this. I bought my car from them and i didnt have to deal with no b.s. They are straight forward and will help u in whateva u want. Customer Service is tops and they are really nice genuine guys. PLUS there is a cute asian chick there which is a plus :D

And that was the first time I was there. My friend ended up wheelspinning it the second he got on the road coz it was wet and cars were coming.

Anyways, if ur free on sat arvo round 3pm...I'll take my ep and take a look at the stratty ep3 with ya. If not, I'll ask my friend to drive his Evo out earlier coz my windscreen is getting fixed this sat.

I wouldn't say they never sell lemons. The risk still exist but significantly low. I know someone who got fk'ed over and needed to rebuild his engine. Sold his car for cheap due to the grief it has given to him.

In the end they are just the middle men trying their best to provide the best service possible. So I'll put 99% of my confidence with them since most people and myself had good experience with them.


With regards to the allimport, their car's mileage looks suspiciously low for their age. Best to get a mechanic to check it out. I wouldn't be surprised if the kms are false because I found it piss easy to swap over the cluster anyway. Hardly a trace left.

Got mechanic to inspect the EP3 i am buying. He said the only problem was the Idler bearing is a bit noisy. How much does it cost to fix it?

Also there were a few dents. How much would it cost to get the dents out? Any places you guys recommend?

I think its just a bearing for a the tensioner pulley.

How much does hanny usually charge?

Also the car has a Japanese radio so i need to get something called a FM booster so i can get the Australian FM channels. Do u guys know where i can get one? Is it hard to install?

I think it's most important you had a fun, safe and enjoyable day. Don't worry if your time is not up to scratch. Everyone starts somewhere. I've seen an EVO X doing 1:30 if that makes you feel better.

i'll ask my bro for his videos cause he was recording his in the prelude. he showed me how to properly do corners and his mate took me in the sti around the track too so i kinda get how their entering it. last session i was infront of the evo for halfway then had to let him overtake. just need to work on my braking, got the hang of braking hard entering sharp/apex then getting out wide. would love to go again next time but the drive is so long, ec would be better but the walls =s

If you do a lot of long distance driving I'd prolly recommend going voltex(caltex).
But if you're findin you're just filling the tank up every two weeks, just use Bp and fill up when the prices have dropped. V-power, IMO, no power grunt and burns quite quickly.

windscreen's great now! was going to tint the original but since this new one has a tint already, i'm thinking of tinting the driver's and passenger side windows.
If you've got a chip on the windscreen, get it fixed asap. Wouldn't want it to turn into a huge crack later on.
the crack on my windscreen was only 1/4 of the windscreen when it first cracked, but due to the bumpy roads of NSW, crack actually increased to half the windscreen.
so recommend getting chips filled in asap to avoid cracks from happening.
ouch kev, hope those bastards get the same thing happening to them. but i gotta say, coleslaw>crack anyday.

hahah nah my gear box was always a issues since i got the car and the dealership tried everything.
Hanneys had a look and they said replace the clutch.. Ive drained it 4 times already currently have the OEM honda gear box fluid which has helped a little.. its not that bad just crunches but very rarely..

btw Nap change me from CW to NHB..

I washed, claybar, swirlx and waxed my car yesterday. But my car is dust magnet..... What do u guys use to keep the dust off ur car?

Also my windows seem to have some water marks and i cant get it off by just using glass cleaner. Any ideas?

My windows also have some water marks too. One thing that works but takes a lot of effort is plastix by meguiars. You really need to rub it in hard for it to work.
I gave up so many times doing this because it was very hard. You could try swirlx on a small corner of your window to see if that will work too.

For the dust i would normally rely on my wax to make the car all smooth to keep the dust off it. However it still attracts dust.

I was past Woodville all the way to the end where it converges into Parra road. The guy looked at me funny thinking why i waived at him then he soon realized once i got in front what i was driving.

Woo woo finally got around to fixing my idle issue. Cleaned out ICV it was seized with carbon gunk from sitting for too long.
