I got gruppeM and rm01a catback, plus apexi vafc2, it's pretty powerfull and sounds very good, so far best 1/4mile time is 14.2@162km/h, lot's of people told me I should be able to get into mid to high 13s with better 60" time and bit of weight reduction.
So power wise EP3 is up there with lots of boosted cars, for example few evos on the night were getting high 13s and low 14s which is nothing special when you consider they are 4WD plus turbo hehe
i ran 14.1 with intake + exhaust on my first wsid run. Im a terrible driver >_<
2nd time i went i got even worse times. i went backwards lol
how do you guys launch you cars??
Hey guys, just picked up some skunk2 stage2 cams, springs and lifters... a k-pro and a 70mm throttle body! I'll keep you guys updated on my gains. I plan on getting it installed and tuned by bel-garage in sydney. Would everyone agree they are the best option for this?
Disagree with you.
Toda or ISMR or Touge tune
yeah im with steve.. ride the clutch... pre-load to about 4..
anyone no a place i could get a new rear bar?
guys, quick question about central locking.
i remember someone one said that they used aftermarket kit to fix their central locking when it failed. is that true? i read up 40+ page but can't find it but i seems to recall reading this.
if this is true, what aftermarket kit did u use?
thanks
just ordered a spare key. will need to pay $150 to buy the key, cut and code the stupid OEM immobilisor. still cheaper than Honda dealer who wants $200 for key + $200 to cut and code....
i am tempted to get the gruppe m and replace the mugen air box..... you folks reckon its worth it>?
i have Fujita which is very similar to the Injen and we didn't need to drill anything like the DC5 but we still need to cut some plastic which i sealed up with duct tape.
if u dun want to cut and drill, keep the Mugen cos u still need to cut and drill while fitting the Gruppe M.
if you want to improve your intake, maybe get a mugen grill as it has a hole for intake.
one more thing, do you guys bring a bottle of octane booster with you on country drives?
I normally found there are a lack of 98ron bowser on country side servos. Have any of you fueled up with 95ron before? Or are you bunch of city slickers and never venture out?
Hello someone please help me
i found these semi slicks, they are 225/45/17 and some of my friends say that they will hit the guards alot, only 40 will fit for 225 wide tyres. can someone help? im confused cause im running 215/45/17 and i dont know whats the difference. these are for stockies too..
225/45/17 on stockies if not lowered should be fine.
225 refers the width of the tyre. it has increased by 10mm from 215. there are still plenty of room on stock wheel but the tyres will be ballooned slightly.
also your friend is not correct regarding 225 would fit on 40 and not 45. 40 is the aspect ratio being the height of the side wall. 225/45 will have a taller side wall than a 225/40 which means the overall diameter will be bigger and your speedo will run slightly faster. obviously 225/45 will scrub slightly earlier than 225/40 but without trying both, it will hard to tell. however if 225/40 srubs then 225/45 will definitely scrub.
i also assume u don't have any spacers.
Thanks mate. cheers
Just the usual jaycar ones will fit....thats what I have and I think its supersteve that wrote something on it.
Yes and no, I'd say spend money else where first!
Been playing with cars for over 15 years and never have seen hydrolock from a cai! Too many people use that as an excuse!
Hey guys, I'm looking to purchase a set of slotted/drilled discs for our cars. Was wondering if anyone here is maybe interested in a group buy to save on postage? It will be similar to the RDA slotted discs but with drilled bits in between.
PM me if interested :)
well it was paid by gavin so im not quite sure. i think their around 100bucks give or take not sure too lol, at jb's they were around 120 for 4.
hey guys im thinking of buying new rims....theres these buddyclub rims - Buddyclub Sf Challenge Time attack edition 17x7 - 5x114.3 with +42 offset....

ok thanks phil. Yeah when I said, they said it wouldn't fit was that meaning it will scrub. I'm running 215/45/17 street tyres and I have has a few scrubbings on track. Also they claimed that the "45" in 215 and 225 is different, in the way which 225 sidewall is bigger.
Also last time I went track day I ran 215/45/17, and the scrubbing was solvable by adjust more camber to the front, that time I had no camber.
Sorry if I am confusing, because I'm quite confused my self.
Quick question I've done a search but how do u remove the rear speakers? does the mesh pop off?
hey guys does anyone know where i can source the oem 01-03 ep3 headlights with the smoked chrome housing?
contact this guy

Anyone know where I can find instructions for various panel removals so i can run some cables to my amp?
hi all, for daily drive, do you think Tein type flex is good enough?
Hey all,
whats everyone using for seat covers (if any)
using some seat covers that my bro got me from markets with honda stitched on round 50bucks each? pretty tight fit on top half of recaros though, somewhat i like to see my recaros rather than put covers on them.
the only one I found that fits are the nos ones lol unless its custom made
the axs ones is too tight for the recaros

I am getting a custom made one soon and might sell these
thanks guys, just picked up some snapon ones on ebay... prob not legit lol but hopefully same dimensions
i recall paying $100 for a pair 7 years ago.

nah perry always wanted one though, compared my mates injen before on his s2k. hey man you know with waxing, its just putting it on smearing it to an even coat and wiping it off with a smooth cloth after an hour?
