^^ Looks cool. Did you end up going with the Skunk2 lowering springs?
Thanks dude. How do they feel? Not too stiff? I'm mostly interested in stance though lolz
Stance? Haha, i was hoping for the car to sit alot lower, but Im still happy because it's not stock height! My offset is still in the process, fronts are getting quite a good fitment, the rear at least 5mm spacers :3 Got some natural Negitive chamber going on the back too!
Just abit devo that the previous owner put 17"s and Dodgey rolled the rear guards.. If was stock I woulnt really need the illegal spacer haha
All in good buily not bought thinking though :)
Good stuff that negitive chamber :D definetely buily not bought
**** yeah buily not bought!!!
Wtf? Where do they come up with these numbers...
that is correct honda prices for recaro
Gooner when you gonna do something to your car? its been stock with an exhaust for ages
Swaped over the cracked rear parcel shelf to the non cracked clean one haha.
Haha!
Tim - Hopefully will be looking soon. I am looking at a couple of inches to minimize the wheel to guard gap. Thinking of going down to 15's too so it might be difficult with just lowered springs?
Charlie - I discovered that leaving my old job in hospitality was a very bad decision. Was always so cashed up there, liquor store treats me like shit because I'm a student and I'm broke as shit.
nah lowering on 15's wouldn't be more difficult, it just means that you will have less ground clearance with a minimal gap as opposed to the same size gap on a larger wheel. however this can be countered with a larger sidewall tyre.
on that subject, costco are selling and fitting bridgestone adrenaline RE002's at a bargain price man, so if you dont have a membership when the time comes you can come with me and my gf because she has a membership there. :)
the only difficulty with lowering springs is that it's crucial to pick the right one, keeping in mind that they are not adjustable, will sag lower with time, too low will blow your stock shocks, and when you go pretty low you want them to be reasonably solid to reduce your chances of bottoming out.
WTF, Costco sell tyres too? Haha crazy. Yeah I know all the disadvantages of just going with springs, but might add shocks to the setup later on when I have more money. Everythings hypothetical atm.
How much is bargain price? I got some cheapy silverstone tyres on the front now and tbh there is hardly any difference to my old Adrenaline RE001's. You working today Tim? Gonna pick up some of that oil you were suggesting.
Silverstone evol8 bro? heard they aint bad for cheapies
nah I don't work weekends bro sorry. and i'm out of credit which is why i couldn't reply to your message haha.
i am working tomorrow though if you get time to swing by. I might not look very awake though as I'm sick at the moment :(
Yeah, you guys are out of the Nulon oil in 10w-40 :( and I have to drive to Sydney tomorrow, out of top ups shiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Was supposed to take my gfs car but its shat itself. Going to check my oil levels tomorrow morning and see how it goes. :S
I've done 3500 since my last service and havnt burnt any oil, happy with that :)
Using nulon 10w-40 aswell
decided to put the integra up for sale + sell off parts. sad sad day

Recently lowered the teg about 2.5" and its sitting pretty nice at the front.. Only just a few mm from the inner guard and tag, could do with some 3-5mm spacers just to get it sitting out..
Whats the go with spacers, i know there illegal but i heard anything over 5mm needs bolt-ons otherwise there inst enough thread on the lugs? Also fairly dangerous?
I has time to even modify the guards slightly if spacers are not the go..
^what size wheels and tyres? looks fairly chunky
That's some bad ass bulge. You're spraying the car yeah? what colour?
nice, thats a good height man :)
B74P hawtttt, makes me want another one
http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1.../blahblah2.jpg
spray it a better colour lol no offence
go for a gtr midnight purple !!! do it
^Money haha.
Mazda Velocity red
haha :P
Apart from the legality of spacers, even 5mm is reducing the amount of thread the nuts have to hold on to, to a dangerous level. The other reason is that you lose the centering spigot on the hub, unless they have been machined to include it (most unlikely), that engages with the centre hole of the wheel.
Longer studs are the best option with spacers that are machined to include that centering spigot (both to fit the one on the hub and to provide one on the outside for the wheel to fit onto)
Relying on the studs alone to centralise the wheel is not a good idea.
^^ what about hubcentric type spacers?
or just get lower offset wheels... better than voiding insurance
with any kind of spacers itll be wise to get the wheel studs extended (not to mention getting the right kind of spacers as hondapop mentioned earlier)
that is if you value your safety and others on the road

Sexy ^
Getting there, I realllllllly want to find some asap
sick lad
I played around with my suspension today, raising the ride height and spring compression slightly at the front drivers side to counteract with the added weight from the driver,
I have noticed that on some turns you can feel the tyres drag more when turning hard lefts as opposed to hard rights so I'm looking for a way to set it up so it's more even.
also recieved some new parts,

Swapped my old seats for some leather seats, out of a Type S and into my DC5
http://distilleryimage5.instagram.co...3804ec91_7.jpg
Love em! First thing I thought when I got my car was "If only it had leather seats".
Sexytime
Feels pretty balla too  Spent about 2 hours driving today, felt so much better driving with leather seats! Will post pics up when I've got my wing, springs and CAI going on
Speaking of which have to go rub some leather cleaner and conditioner into those babies to try repair/stock any cracks from wearing and tearing at it.
Those seats get hot quick?
I don't find they get too hot, aircon cools them down really quick. My old ones would get very hot though, was annoying coming out of a shift from work and sitting down in a hot ass car that took forever to cool down - guess leather seats attract cold hair quicker.
Makes sense, Bought some spacers from autobarn the other day. Before;

But took it down out massive driveway and scrapped soo fcking hard. Ill leave off until we move next week haha
Does the spacer just slide on and make your wheels appear wider? Heard in another thread that it was more complicated - wanted to widen my stock wheels a bit, looks good though :D What'd it scrape?
These are just basic machined wheel spacers where you just slide them on behind the wheel. The other ones are hubcentric which are usually only like 8mm+. Since the spacers reduce the amount of thread on the lugs by how ever wide they are, they can be and are considered dangerous, and illegal ;) I put on 8mm and had just enough thread to secure my wheels on tight enough. With the hubcentric spacers are alot more safer and wider. Quite simple fitment, kind of hard for me to explain but they basically just act as a extended hub? A picture explains alot so here..
http://www.roadie.org/spacer.jpg
As of scraping.. Since my car has been lowered a decent amount, when the wheel was pushed out basically right under the guard, it just rubbed instantly when i go over a bump. Without the spacers the wheel can go up into the wheel well when driven over a but because there is nothing above it :) Hope that explains abit!
Thanks for the reply, looks great! :D Would definitely consider doing it to mine
Put your money towards some decent wide mags if you want the right look. If you put stock wheels on those it will look ridiculous from front or back. Another factor is you will be loading your wheel bearings heavily to their outside and handling will be affected. Wide mags on the other hand are much more evenly balanced across the bearings i.e. an 8" rim for instance does not usually stick out an inch more than a 7" but 1/2" in and 1/2" out. Of course there are limits to how far a rim can be extended in towards the suspension knuckle.
^ I wasn't even thinking about stance when i bought my rims, sadly haha. I would of looked for something with a little more aggressive width and profile. Oh well, the P1 SFs look great and are very light :D
