Hey all.
To my understanding, the s2000 has about 136RWKW stock.
I was just wondering, from those out there who have done engine mods and left your S2K's N/A'd, what sort of power are you making at the wheels?
I want to aim for 155-160 at the rears, but it seems very hard to achieve with the F20C being so highly tuned from the factory, so I'm curious with what other people have achieved and what sort of mods they used?
I hit 145 or 150 before going FI with just a toda header, K&N FIPK, and Invidia exhaust.

I'm not allowed Forced Induction because of P-plate laws, pretty silly laws i swear the people who write them know nothing, a standard S2K's will beat a lot of V8's and turbocharged cars.
However, I personally prefer the N/A'd appeal to S2K's anyway, but just want to try and make some more RWKW's.

If your looking for that extra power, do what luder did - but keep in mind that it's probably the max you can do for alot of coin for so little improvement, almost just enough coin to go FI. Wait for your fulls, save up then go nuts!

Hmmm. Im going in for a tune in about a month. My mods are: Full exhaust from Liverpool Exhaust (extractors catback and mufflers), cold air intake, ported and polished head, and gonna tune it with an Apexi Neo. Oh and its headlight washers are shaved :P What should i be expecting at the wheels?

I've seen a car with buddyclub exhaust, injen intake and 5zigen headers make 145kw atw.
and wow! chris, I didnt know you use E85.
but remember, it all depends on the day you get a dyno.. some days better than others depending on weather and how your car is feeling on the day.
Recently had this done. Unless you're good with panels you need a panel shop to do it for you. They pull the washers and fibreglass the hole up, then respray the bar. Looks much cleanerQuote:

kpro is baller-spec as well. But it is definitely easier to tune, but I think it requires other parts to fit it though which costs some more $$$

Elliott had bought the KPRO so i let u know wht he thinks after u installed and tune...
My Kpro will be installed this week. First dyno run for my car and it's mods.
two s2k ran at the dyno day yesterday did 153.6kw atw with aem cai and hipower hks exhaust.
the other also ran same aem cai but different exhaust and made 156.5kw atw
definitely due to the weather being cooler. The weather has some crazy effects on dyno reading, and would you happen to remember the type of exhaust the s2k with 156.5kw had?Quote:

Just find a place with a happy dyno and you'll be able to achieve high numbers with just bolt on mods :P

i got 140rwkw stock so i could imagine with a proper intake and exhaust ull have about 150rwkw? not 2 much of a gain but as there already using some quality bolt ons standard
ive HERD *qoute me if im wrong guys* but apparently with a retune u can potentially get an extra 20rwkw.
bee's dick gain though but it would still help the car as its a light focker :P and bolt ons are almost useless unless u wanna shed weight

20kw is quite a big claim from just a tune. If your changing fuel and tune on ragged edge then a 20kw shown difference.
cause you a p plater you will probably ignor this, i did when i first got my s, but the 3-4k you can spend on a decent I/H/E could buy tyres so good you would destroy any I/H/E build by miles. in fact for the price you could fit some BC br coilover's in there to!

maybe it's the scale of the curve. but the top end power is very good.
