thanks for the replies guys! will def have a read through those thread Symphorced. Fuel economy isnt a major concern as I don't do much driving. Do they go through oil like the s2ks do? i used to...
I'm currently driving an s15 but have been thinking of switching into something a bit less out there which would make a good daily but still have a bit of go and handling ability. I...
is the flywheel is too worn you cant machine it, otherwise it wont last you very long. a lighter flywheel will probably make the s2k nicer to drive as a daily. it'll help with bottom end acceleration.
fair point. guess it depends on how much power you want to run (though as you said you always want more). i think 200kwatw is plenty for an s2k. if you want more though go for the mase kit (its 9k i...
i dont think many come with the red key. mine only came with 2 black ones and a grey one too. but red is master so it should be able to open everything.
sizes are commong but the offsets may not be. same case with me when i wanted to order ce28s. they have set offsets but will do custom ones if you want your own offsets.
bonnet locks are a defect but the bonnet is a defect too. Metal/stock bonnets will crumple under stresses/in an accident whereas fibreglass or carbon fibre will simply shatter/crack.
u need to pay for it and pick it up/get it delivered. A receipt is for your own safety. do a vcheck (like a revs here in nsw) to make sure it doesnt have any encumberances listed against it.
yup both are defects (though i dont think they will really hassle you over it). the dry carbon ones are stronger and lighter, but a fair bit more expensive (think double +).
hey pat lol its john here. no no its cf on the top and fibreglass on the botton (fibreglass isnt clear). Its a "wet carbon" fibre bonnet. most bonnets are made in this way with carbon on top (for the...
the greddy bolt on kit can be had for 4350us delivered from the states. if you have a friend handy and dont mind the diy you could probably do it yourself over a couple of days.
the main advantage to nonstaggered setups (imo) is that you can rotate your tyres f+r. i still think running stagger is better (as there are improved handling characteristics), however you can buy...
Thats a respray as well, car was originally silver decent mods, though the steering wheel seems to have the cruise control buttons (USDM only?). no way to tell what condition it really is in till you...
yup that white one for sale on carsales is my car. the respray was paid for by the previous owner. its in excellent condition. highish kms (though you can be sure they are genuine compared to some...
