    I knoe heaps of wreckers with DC5's in them if you want. Theyr not as sort after as the DC2R's..
    ive been to quite a few wreckers in melb, dc5's dont tend come up that much often either.

    ur lookin probz under $2000 i'd say..
    The wait for the part will be 1-2 weeks..

    $300 paint
    $400 labour
    $1000 for the part maybe?

    I'd say 1800-2000
    Get a quote see if im wrong lol

    lol yeh it just sucks having to go through the passanger door all the time cause the driver door wont open. yeh im not that fussed bout price cause my mate is paying for it lol
    but tried to get some quotes today..but being a saturday didnt really help as most places were closed...but those that were open are booked out till next yr so not taking any more cars which really sucks...

    Just look around to places that u TRUST doing the work.
    It's a small job and easy one to fix.
    Would take a week all up once ur parts are in

    yeh thats how long i was expecting it to take..but thanks you guys for the help and advice...greatly appreciated...ill keep you guys updated when i get more info on prices etc.

    all quoted around the $1200-1400 mark

    yeh lol my mates excess was $1500 so really no point doing it through insurance as the only thing they will save us is the hassle. Although the annoying thing is my mate is going on leave before christmas and doesnt have money to pay for it until first week of january which is really annoying as my driver door doesnt open due to it and i have to go through the passanger door comming in and out of the car, which is really embarassing at car parks etc LOL
