Rumour has it that James from Hondata/Hondatech has just purchased a Civic Type R and is using it as a test car to develop a header, exhaust, intake, ECU combination for the FN2. Waiting in anticipation.....

That sounds awesome...only thing is the new ECU that hondata has released disables the stock honda immobiliser and for some, well for me that is my actual insurance company won't insure me unless the immobiliser is enabled..hopefully James can actually rectify this through his testing.

The Aus Spec Hondata ECU will allow for the factory immobilser to still function...

The Hondata ECU is only in the inital stages of development, at a guess I would say you need to wait at least six months until they are released.

Yes well I actually posted in the Hondata forum and apparently the guy actually design the ECU and other mod's has about 4 stores in NSW's alone which sells his parts...so I suppose when it gets closer to release date, I will be asking where abouts we can purchase the mods.
