You can hydrolock your engine. Basically the Cai is sitting behind your front bumper facing down'ish. If you've got a lowered car your risk is greater. Basically, if you drive through high'ish water or big deep puddles and the filter is 60%+ submerged your air intake will suck in lotsa water (pending on the revs). In short... water doesn't compress like air does.. so things break.
Having said that... if I do end up changing my intake it will be a Injen CAI. Hey JaCe looking forward to seeing the SRI installed. Take lotsa happy snaps.
