Cool K&N Typhoon Intake for FD1

For those who didn't know (not many i suspect) I was in Singapore recently and bought myself back a K&N Typhoon Intake for the FD1. I'm getting it installed this Saturday but until then thought I would share with the OH community the instruction manual which came with it; along with all the other pamphlets.

One file is the scanned A3 instructions with photos (double sided); the other file is the complete PDF (with the A3 pages shrunk to A4) with all the other bits of paper it came with.

Download A3 Typhoon install Civic 69-1013.pdf

    Download K&N Typhoon Intake 69-1013 2006 Civic L4-1.8L.pdf

    Cheers!

Correct- it's NOT a cold air intake. I figured the risks involved with using a CAI weren't worth it; that... and this was the only one which the shop in Singapore recommended to me for the FD1 automatic. They also had Simota and AEM gear but it was for either FD1 manual or FD2.

When you consider it's around 350aud after conversion with no shipping costs (since I carried it myself), it's a pretty good price.

The dyno charts in the shop said 5.7hp gain from memory- but I'll wait until I install it this weekend. Shall post soundbytes or something as well.
