    Thumbs down Possiblity damaged engine due to Over revved

    Hi guys I was driving my dc2r on freeway few days ago and i was stupid enough to downshift(going approximately 80-90km/h) to 2nd gear while I was on 3rd gear and the engine rev up to 9k Rpm and now I'm paranoid that my engine is stuffed now.

    The engine RPM only reached to my rev limiter(up to 9k Rpm) and As soon as I hit 2nd gear i quickly changed it back to 3rd and now Im scared I've damaged my valve springs or so. After this incident, I've havnt heard any strange sound but what possibilities of damages to the engine I have done?
