Philips Diamond Vision have been really crap for me - had a blown bulb twice (both on the driver's side) in the space of 8 months.

No such problems with the stock and Bosch bulbs (which lasted for 3 years) I had used in the past.

When I bought the BlueVisions, the sales dude said that the CrystalVision were illegal because they are too bright, but not sure if thats really true or not.

But yeah the Phillps/Osram bulbs are decent bulbs ftw. The BlueVisions are only $60 and worth a try especially if ur car has projectors (u get a nice blue cut-off like HID's).
havent tried the DiamondVisions though.. The $100 CrystalVisions seems to be a bit of a rip off though..

4000k for the stock bulbs seems excessive, they seemed very yellow to me.. 3200k seems more like it.

The Bluevisions? Have a look on eBay.

a quick ebay search found these: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Philips-Bluev...QQcmdZViewItem

The H1's also come with a pair of standard wedge bulbs to use for your parking lights, but I used LED parkers instead > check out www.superbrightleds.com , look for the '168' wedges

I'm a little hesitant in buying off eBay as if the bulbs are faulty when they arrive, I do not want to have to post them back for replacements.. Anyone else know of any stores where these can be purchased in Perth? Thanks

Checked the Philips site, apparently the only resellers of the Bulb in Australia are Autobarn, 4WD Warehouse and some other shops I neverheard of.. . Been to the above mentioned and they don't stock philips bulbs. Oh well.

Coventrys would be your best bet, otherwise I've seen some Autopro's stock Philips globes.

I buy the +50% Hellas with blue tint ( prob true 3600K ) frpm Auto One in Osborne Pk in the same complex as the Good Guys. Not expensive either, It think $18-20 for a H1 and bit more for a H4, I bought a fair of those for my BMs and my Merc. I won't spend too much $ on Halogen lamps, if one spends mroe than $100 for a pair you might as well put that sum towards a good xenon conversion kit if appropriate for your headlight design.
