Why is it i cant read a thread anymore without someone briging up a DC2R... ok yes, its a honda forum, but in every thread!!
Whether its about "prelude vtir vs integra vtir , or im lookin for an auto, what can i buy? " someone always needs to put there 2cents, --- get a dc2R.

Same in this thread... im not going to say names, but where the F*CK in the Poll Choice , does it say DC2R... leave it out,
and STI... c'mon brother, he obviously ruled out the suburu range, ?... why say that for.

EVO's are nice cars. DC5R handles pretty well. Gotta remember that just because you have AWD, it doesn't make you invincible on the road.

    Agree with Eddie!

It really depends on your friend. Its all about personal taste and purpose.

Please explain to me why my friend would be so ignorant and naive not to listen to honda enthusiasts
and hopefully owners of dc5r/s thoughts?

Last time i checked ozhonda was a community for owners / enthusiasts of honda cars as well as potential honda owners.
Somewhere were questions relating to honda's could/would be answered and advice of a helpful nature could be sort.

Firstly, u are right in askin for first hand experience on a honda forum. but majority of THIS forum cannot give you much in terms of useful information as the percentage of dc5r/s drivers are small compared to others . u will probably have better luck on the clubitr forum http://www.clubitr.com.au as this forum is specfically aimed at owners of type r - integra & civic and even a few evo owners linger around aswell. so my advice would be to head over there and shoot em this question and see what they say

I have driven ALL 3 (and owned dc2r & evo amongst others) of the cars and i always compare them to the dc2r because thats the car i have had a the longest (up until this date) and many people can relate to this as there are larger amounts of people driving these

My advice and insight may have been very narrow on this occassion however it really depends on what your friend wants out of the car, they can be 2 very different vehicles in terms of costs, maintenance, performance, reliability etc.. i myself am lookin for an evo now.. but only because the issue of money is not so big anymore.. i choose the dc2r over the evo due to the cost of maintenance etc was beyond wat i expected .. one benefit to your friend is that he has narrowed it down to 3 cars.. (2 pretty similar) ... so hes on the right track

oh and btw.. im not a mathematical genius either.. i didnt even do maths at school.. but i work in the property and finance field.. go figure hahaha
