I know.... we just ended up talking about how bad i am at doing the drag racing thing
13.5 is a great time i think I'll wait till winter and try again

from talking to others about the drag times they have informed me that if you do run after run (like I did) there times went from 13.5 and ended up doing 14.1 in there rx8 ..Cool down of engine is very important..popping the bonet on the drive back after a run is a good idea and having it open as long as possible
and they informed me there girlfriend does 1.8 60 ft time preetty good

actually, the basic theory is that with a better launch ie: less wheel spin you cover more distance initially with a lower speed. therefore you reach the 60' mark with a lower mph. and then that leaves you with less distance and less time to reach a top speed.
so as mentioned, less wheelspin and a good launch will actually result in lower mph.
i'd put your car on another dyno. while the numbers wont be the same, different dynos should still be close enough to show whether you're being had, cos you're mph is way off for 150kw.
to put it into perspective, a B20 powered EK over here with ~ 175hp atw (130kw) was getting trap speeds of around 106 - 107mph (ET 13.3).

anyway, back to barefoots car lol

heat shouldnt affect engine performance that much. Its only N/A.

150kw is alot of power for N/A. You should be looking at doing low 13's

Pretty low on MPH as well...

Ive seen that EK evolve for along time now..had the pleasure of cruising with it. I would of done it the exact same way. Simple clean and fast.

Btw about the 150KW@wheels.. yes something doesnt add up here.. We are reaching 113MPH on a summer night and we certainly dont have 150KW..
