For the intake, have you considered a Plazmaman one?
Proven results, and they're Australian made.

I've been running ITR cams in my VTi-R for a while now, with good improvements. Unfortunately I lost the before + after graphs... In terms of peak numbers, it was 115kw (tuned) vs 124kw (tuned), bearing in mind that the head had p&p, valve job and combustion chambers done.

You'll need an ECU to get benefits, what are you looking at in that area?

No I havnt seen the Plazmaman products, where can you get them from?

Are you saying that the Port and Polish, valve job etc were done before the results of the cams or is that 9kw gain, just from the cams?

As far as i know ECU and tuning is very expensive, dyno tune im looking at above $300 and an ECU who knows how much. Expensive expessially if its a hondata.

    Thanks.

    Wink

Are you running with the stock IM?

On my setup, P&P, Valve job, cams + tune gave me 9kw.
Bearing in mind that the car was already tuned with the vti-r cams, and the 96 ITR cams are not as large as the 98+ ITR's.

If the hondatas are too much, you could always try a Crome or something... They look pretty good on paper. The only problem is finding a tuner... particularly in Melb.

    Yes, stock IM.

I actually might consider getting the skunk2 intake manifold, i didnt think they were that expensive as well.

Any news on the Fujita CAI EG5? or the Plazmaman one guys?

    Cheers.

At the moment im running an Apexi Power FC and CTR camshafts, to me works great against a stock vti-r.

but from what I heard that the b18c7 is not faster at all compared to the b18c2.
