Can anyone comfirm the quote price for the CTR coz I asked one of the sales i know from homebush honda and he cant give me a proper figure its ranging from 40-50K i was like WTF

Did some digging around and found out that even at Honda HQ there is no firm price. Currently they're deciding on the equipement list, things like dual zone climate control, 6 speaker stereo etc. No one knows the retail price for the Oz model yet and the best estimate is $39k-$44k.

There is talk that there's only going to be an initial run of 1000.....

There was a Honda dealer meeting last week and from that a fax went out for Civic allocation.... i heard some dealers responded to this fax within 5mins!

I'm guessing 38k - 44k with all the features but if its hitting the 45k mark you are better off with a golf gti.

Base model for a Golf gti is about 39-40k for it to be competitive it has to be lower then that.

If it comes with the 6-stacker, climate control, curtain airbags and power folding mirrors, then it's more worth it than a GTI.

Also another option is the freezing thing in the glove box... I've seen some pics online where the lights are HID... Does anyone know for sure if it is or not??? and some of the don't have the Type R badge at the front grille???

knowing you, you would find any way to mod a car. :P
Why not I suggest an Evo, it comes rally-bred anyway and you won't need to mod because it is fully tuned already.
