i dislike people who are rude, whats your point, ive been told this from a engeineer, its not my fault if he's wrong.,anyway im way under the total displacement of 15 percent, so i dont need no engeineer cert.

iv gota carbie and really wanted to do a mini-me vtec conversion as its more unique then the general b-series swap..
how much did u pik up the jdm d16 for..!?!..and did u have to change fuel lines etc. etc.
and i was reading u did a vtec carbie conversion..!?
    please explain..ahaha..sounds itneresting..
and what internals did u buy and headers, zort system and all...im really interested...!!!
and was the pistons and stuff u bought of ebay any good...!?!...
well first your project, is it a honda city, cause the carby versions do not have a return line, which makes things difficult. also they use a electric fuel pump, if its injected your lucky. i know this cause i got two honda citys, one for spares. you can not do a mini-me vtec head conversion on this particular engine, as the d13c is not a d13b. its different. and alot is not compatible, one simple example is the bell patern. alignment to the gearbox. i had a d15b vtec which was in need of a rebuild from a civic. and i used it for the perfect conversion. the extractors i bought was very good ones, they have excellent flow charateristics when compaired to anything standard. with my civic (project before this) i did a dual carb vtec conversion as the original dual carb setup is almost as good as having a injected setup. gl/gli theres a 5hp difference. pistons from the zc rases the compression up to 11cr so thats a nice push in the d series area. theres alot more to do like tuning the ecu, but with alittle effort. things happen.

If u were in melb then i would have given u the box off my old EG GL engine for free (same as ED box).
Would be of better use in a project like this than my backyard.
