    problem with civic window motor

    ey guys,
is the window motors in all doors the same, as in, will a window motor from the rear left door of a ek sedan, fit in the front right door on a coupe?

i have one lying around, and the one on my car now is stuffed, the window goes up but then stops when its about 3/4 closed, then it just makes a loud clicking noise, i have to puch it up by hand to get it fully closed,

    suggestions?

sounds like the regulator is screwed.

the motor will still be ok. remove the window then the regulator.

detach the motor from the regulator and you will find the teeth on the regulator are damaged.

they are only $130 from honda.

coups and sedans are all different.
