i m after more fun on track, not competing for serious lap times ^^ so i guess ss is the way to go. Also i heard that to get edfc for SS u need upper mount to do so? adjust yourself? do u need to take rims off etc etc
When tracking yr car u are hitting more corners more often and harder compared with street driving. Therfore the SS can feel a bit soft cause the spring rates are lower than Flex but compression and rebound tension is adjusted the same way but the flex tube is designed differently to SS from memory.

U adjust the 16 levels of compression and rebound (soft to hard) by turning a pin on the top of the strut, front and rear. You can access this with yr hood up for the fronts and access the rears by removing the side bolsters of yr rear seat. I dont have my rear bolsters bolted in as they sit pretty firm and it gives me access to adjust damping when I need too.

This is the front damper in the engine bay and the top of the SS strut adjustment pin.

Here is a couple of shots of the rear with the euro side seat bolsters off and my large hand reaching in and adusting the compression pin.

Note you get an adjustment pin tool with the coilovers but I find doing it by hand is just as easy.

    Hope this helps alittle.

Thanks very much for the pics and explainations Mugen88. You're very helpful.
Are the SS much cheaper than Flex?
What adjustments do the Flex have that the SS don't?
