definatly get a decompress gasket. u cant boost a NA engine. episcally with compression over 9.0:1 without avgas.

your turbo is a bad choice but. the mismatched turbine create pig lag with no ooomph. get a plain RS.

Two turbos, is better then one.

Hey! sounds like an awesome vtec+turbo car to-be!! Hope the transformation happens smoothly without any massive bumps along the way for you... =)

Would be keen on an update or the progess of your project..

I'm currently looking into a similar setup... I've been told that the hondata s200 for the b16a should do the trick (that is with a proper dyno&tune) and perhaps a mechanical boost controller to cut the cost of things...

I took my ex-200sx s14a to croydon (syd) for dyno/tuning for around 600 bux for a few runs... which it did 170kws atrw (4th gear run) on stock internals, s15 turbo, IC, 3" custom exhaust, injectors....oh and on 15psi

I'm considering going back there again once I can finance a turbo kit for my car.. I'm sure that people like dynodave or Adrian from toda should be able to hook you up with the hondata stuff...

    Keep us posted plz
Good night, hold on tight, don't let the vtec bite!

my car can make more (if i boost to 15 psi )
    f22b1 accord 95 t3 0.7 bar (10 psi) 205hp fwh stock internals

does it mean honda better? LOL !!!

haha thanks JDMboy, will definitely keep ya posted, i was considering using my Hondata to tune the motor, but its a pain in the butt getting a tuner to do it for me as DD is never in town and James from Hondata is in Melb...no good to me. plus ill prob sell my Hondata soon anyway.

im going to keep with this turbo, its seen setups with it before and its my weaon of choice, disco potato style.

Hey guys just thought i'd clear up a couple of things. I had a gt3540r on my integra not a t66 It made 240hp on 7psi. Stock internals. I have since sold the car. Some of you may remeber the plates 96TEG!

    Anyhoo...

It use to detonate because of the high compression combined with boost and a crap computer. But you all knew that. I ran a MTech LT10s ecu in the integra while it was boosted; hondata prior to that. It was lots of fun...i use to scare the shit out of alot of cars.

One thing i learnt while having the turbo honda was that doing things the cheap way is the worst thing you can do. Turbocharging a high(er) compression engine is something you can do fairly easily providing you use the correct parts/ECU and a good tuner!!!

I believe that by doing what my little brother is doin is frickin cool but, having done it before would do it very differently.

OH yeah and dont worry peeps i currently dont own a car(honda) but will have somthing for ya early next year!!! so watch these pages!

don't water to air intercoolers require another radiator?
so u'd be restricting cool air flow ayway.

you CAN boost a N/A motor with a static compression of 9:1. I did it to the integra ie b18c they have a comp of 10:1. **** James from Hondata boosted a K20 Type R safely. They have a comp of 11:1.

Its tuning. If the car has the correct parts, good ECU and an even better tuner it will work on pump gas. No problem.
