    Did you see the head?

I saw the headwork on this head as i helped place it on top of the block.
Let me tell you it was a good port job...... I'm sick of people dissing this engine build. it made 130 odd kw! nothing wrong with that especially for davids budget.

Your a dickhead mate , every post you make on this forum is just stupid...totally unbacked claims and just basic shit stirring

Good on you dave for going the next step with the itb's and i wish you all the best with the setup, but you got to sick up for those who put your engine package together.

More like 130 disneywatts. I drove this car on the old setup, it had major problems with detonation, and it was not quick. Seat of the pants was about the same as my 14.2 Integra. That ain't worth 10k or whatever was initially paid...

As for the porting, there were still casting marks on the left and right hand sides of the ports, it didn't look like there was much porting done to this head at all. It looks like it had a flatwheel run through it.

And lets not forget that the screen between the vtec solenoid and the cylinder head was FULL with silastic. I'm amazed that the car managed to get into vtec.
    $10k?? I'd be upset.

Ah well, Dave is happy now... probably best leave it at that.
    And so it begins...

Maybe there's a good reason y he doesn't stick up for those who put his engine together orginally. Probably the same reason y he took it else where when deciding on going ITB's. Go figure.

    ok , roasted ..... lol
There is no way i can disproove these comments or convince anyone that it was a decent engine....i thought it was pretty quick when i drove it with 130 "disneywatts" (lol if you say so).
    Oh well.

Good luck with the full tune matey looking forward to seeing the results with the new and improoved head and ITB's..... should work well with the rockets.
Whats sort/ size injectors are you using now?
Looking forward to seeing you on the road.

    hi guys... stop fighting

no point speculating what a car does on the dyno...
do it prove it! and the rest will shut up...
looking at the forumns; people really dont know what a good head port job is.

i have also heard heaps of people promising this car got 200kw, promising that got 300kw.. end of the day do the 1/4 times and show it... like they say solid MPH!!!

DO it and the critics will shut up...
btw good luck with the build...
