I absentmindedly put my Euro key through a wash cycle. Considering how much a replacement key cost, I was pleased when the remote still work even after it was churned for about 1.5 hr in a front loader.

When I took the key apart: the electronics are dry and completely encased within a plastic enclosure with gasket seal. I am glad Honda thought of that.

    Intersting...

Hey everyone found out something interesting about euro's with HID lights.

Police car stickers reflect from a great distance......and you can see the laser beam from the speed gun they use to detect your speed, only at night mind you.

The police car was parked about 500m roughly saw the reflection, slowed down, then, to my amazement saw the green beam he or she was pointing at the cars that where approaching.

It was green this beam and was very accurate, watched the beam move from car to car. Amazing

Anyone else see experience this ?

    I love my lights, lol

I would suggest that it wasn't your lights -- light won't show up light. I imagine it probably would have been a bit misty -- you need particles in the air (mist, smoke, dust) to show the laser beam. It's why nightclubs use smoke machines -- so the lights make interesting effects.

^ Agreed. Laser beams is just concentrated light, and HID is just light as well. To see the beam, you need particles (fog/mist/etc..) to collide with the photons (light).

Recently I left a map reading light on and didn't drive the car for a week. The car wouldn't start when I next got into it and the battery was completely flat. Once the NRMA gave it a hit and got the car running we noticed that the map light was on and this had flattened the battery.

haha you know whats my favourite part about the euro, that centre consol part that you press the door and it goes up, my ex put a honda badge on his lookd pretty cool.

but what i like about it, is that its actually quite magical!!

my friend had his pet rat with him and i put the rat in that consol part and shut the door, but when i pressed the door to open again, the rat was gone!!!!!

lmfao it wa the funniest thing ever!!! my ex was losing it at me haha but i couldnt stop laughing!! we tried pulling apart the foot well panel to reach up and pull the rat out but couldnt reach so after almost giving up hope i decided there was only one way to get him back out.

the same way he dissapeard, lol i closed the lil door again and waited a second or two and re-opened it and there was the rat!!! lmfao
