    Perth- Hondata Tuners info!!!

    Hi Ozhonda members,

Hi building a turbo DC2 B18c, I want to get a Hondata ECU for my setup cause i heard they are a good product, but I dont know anyone in perth specialising in tuning hondata ECU everyone is over Eastern States! so i was thinking to get an Apexi FC instead cause everyone here can tune it easy. But i was wondering if anyone know someone or place that can tune Hondata in perth let me know? thanks

Speedworx did my tune...i built the car mostly myself with help of my uncle with a few bits and peices.

Long storey short: Well i blew my d15b4 motor that was originially in it....then i put my b16a2, was bored soo did some research about how the b series can take upto 6-7 psi safely on stock internals...soo i bought a turbo kit. got a bunch of mates over. installed the whole kit from 6am to 6pm on a saturday...then got some exhaust issues and stuff ironed out over the next week. and then got a tune done by speedworx. car ran fine for bout 4 months. then i was dragging my mates r32 on mitchelle freeway and dropped it back to 3rd and FINISHED.....i cracked the ring housing on two pistons....soo i meen i've heard of people that have used 6-7psi on stock internals for over 2 yrs and have been fine and my motor only had 30k on it before i did so weather it was the tune or just wear n tare i dont know. But i rebuilt it since then with all forged setup and now i havent had a problem since and i thrash the shit out of my car....

Im extra cautious now...i make sure every little problem gets ironed out before i drive it too long. because be aware that having a turbo kit does put alot of strain on your car and will need alot of maintaining.

i wonder how long my cars gonna last with stock inernals (d16)... since i too, thrash the shit out of mine..
oh wells.. i'll be learning from my mistakes, hands on approach is the best way to learn i guess..
