The F88 Austeyr is an Assault Rifle class weapon. Other weapons in this class include the Colt M16 Rifle, AK47 (Avtomat Kalashnikova 1947), Nexter FAMAS (Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de St-Étienne), StG44 (Sturmgewehr 44), Steyr AUG (very similar to the Austeyr, only better) and quite a few others.
