    rim sizes?

hey guys planning to buy 17s for my 1994 honda civic gli just got a few questions that need to be answered
    1. will they fit without any modifications?
    2. in order to fit properly what offsets would they need to be
    3. PCD: 4x100-114.3 ( what exactly does that mean? )
    thanks in advanced
whats the point in having a signature?

u dont need any mods but if ur car is lowered then u mite need 2 roll out da fender guard,
only 4x100 will fit civic eg not 4x114 these are mainly for preludes an such.
off sets are normally 40 or something.

17" rims will fit right as long as you buy the correct width, offset, pcd. providing that your car is not lowered to the ground which may cause the tyres to rub on your guards

you should be looking for 4x100 as stated above and an offset of 40-42 would be fine.

pretty much the 100 and 114.3 is talking about the diameter location of the stud holes. ie. 4x100 would have 4 holes, with 100mm between the centres of opposing holes.
    Current Performance Modifications to ED6:
not telling, but it involves a semi-quad carb setup, and lots and lots of compression.

keep it in mind that 17" will be a defect item if the cop really wants to get you for some thing..... the eg came with 14" yeah?

could always stick on the 15s sticker on your door sill thingy. thats the only thing the cops looked for on my car.

lol thanks for info, a friend from work said that the 4x100-114.3 means that the car is multi studed in the sense that it would fit both 4x100 and 4x114.3 does that sound correct?
whats the point in having a signature?

    your car can't be multistudded.
Some rims have multi stud (multifit) holes so they will fit more than one studd pattern for example the 4x100 (civics, lancers etc....) and 4x114.3 (180sx, silvias, older lasers/mazdas etc...)

Also, the 17's on a civic are defectable as ezzy said, if the cop really and i mean really wants to defect you, how do i know (been there ->got done ) but i've had the rims for over 3 1/2 years and only been done once

<----------------Same car as yours 94 civic
Life is like a box of chocolates
It doesn't last as long for fat people

ok so if its multi fit they would obviously fit right?
and also to the defect thingo: doesnt any of the egs come stock with bigger rim sizes then 14's?
whats the point in having a signature?
