    EK9 Engine & swapping

    Is the EK9 Type R engine a B16B ?
And what ECU does the B16B use ?

In my previous thread i was talking about engine options. They were either rebuilding my Y4 with a Y8 head and some other stuff, or engine swap. In the end i decided its pointless to go with the Y4, and thought i might just look into engine swaps.

    And wondering, should i be looking towards a B16B or B16C ?

EDIT: (i dont have that much money, what would be cheaper option)

The B18 might not be cheaper (not 100% sure), but it is easier to access and you will produce more power.
See a good post? Give it a PQ point.

    B18C

Any rough price is fine, just wanting ideas.
