    so, you can open up ur logbooks/dealer books and tell us the engine code. it should have a "D16Yxyz1239012931293" somewhere in there.

    that will give us your answer.

    It should either say "D16Y4" or "D16Y8". If it is a 4 then no VTEC if it is an 8 then VTEC.

    some dont even have VTi written on them, the US-made ones do, Jap made ones dont afaik (they just got coupe written). i know this cause my brothers is US made but my mates is jap made

    You dont need log books. Just pop the hood and look at the compliance plate - will have the same information.

    it sound like she has a ej8 than its vtec though the engine cover doesn't says it has vtec (ej8 if the rear lights have yellow amber unlike the em1 where its only two colour white and red, side strip of the car is black and the rear number plate holder thing). gli looks exactly the same em1 except for the oem rims, the side strips are black not the colour of the car and its auto; that is not vtec.

    hmmmmmm go onto www.boostcruising.com and look up REX113 and look at the car he is selling which is mine and tlel me what it is from wat u can see..
