    DYNO's

Now im tossing up about the Dyno tune.

Ive got these parts to fit

    Topspeed Header
    Fujita CAI

    and soon

    Mild Jtune reflash.

Should I get a DYNO based stock first (1)
Then fit header and CAI and second DYNO (2)
Then Jtune reflash and last DYNO (3)

Or am i wasting my money?

Anyone know a good place in canberra with a dyno?
I went to the modded XR5 Turbo with Mods - the dark side.....BOOOOST!

get all three dynos done, before, mid, and final! that way you can compare the mods if anything atleast get before (stock) and final (after everything done).

i went to Pulford Race Engines in Mitchell...

Just thought I'd post up a cpl of pics of how to adjust the rear Tein SS and how to access the cavity, someone else was asking me on the weekend at a meet.

First is a pic of a access hole I drilled behind the seat which is only visible with the seat in the open position. I'll get a couple of rubber caps one day.

Here's a pic of how to remove the side panels next to the seat to access the shocks and line up for a hole to drill thru for adjustment as above.

I just didn't screw the side panels back in after install the coilovers. They can easy lift off after opening the seat backs and fit back on. They do not move once the seat backs are locked in position. You can easily adjust the dampers this way. Just an alternative to drilling holes.

Yep. i did this. I have my bolsters in unscrewed for easy adjustment.

By the way I set from front Tein shocks to 14/16 so nearly full stiff and the rears to 10/16. So its pretty firm but has freakishly good handling.

I might go 12/16 Front and 8/16 rear for long term.

On other news my baseline dyno was a DISASTER. See this thread http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...37#post1392737

    86.5KW FTW!!

Anyways looks like it was my inexperience contributing to this. Total waste of a baseline dyno.So bugger it im installing the Intake and Header this weekend. Then a new Dyno.

So I fully expect a 50kw gain on the next Dyno!

I love my EDFC... but then again, I need it as the damper always needs adjustment depending on who is in the car.

    Not Work Safe

    HOLY MUTHER!

I just installed the Fujita Intake and the SS Headers.

I must have 100 more kW as it sounds like I got a f**ken turbo under the bonnet. I think I sucked up a terrier and some small children as I drove past, such is the force of my intake suck PowA!

Jesus thats some serious cop attracting donut noise!

Its totally sweet when I hit vtec in 2nd or 3rd, you can hear it engage very clearly. You cant talk or have a conversation and be heard but you can here the vtec kick in like a mutherF.

On a serious note it does seem to have a fair bit more squirt up in the top half of the rev range. But is hard to say cause more noise sounds like more power to me and most other people.

Its a bit loud for my liking. Normally if I gave it a little bit at the lights and no one would even know, but now I'd get pulled up by any copper within 100 metres for sure. So that sucks. But it is a very nice and tough sound.

Ill see how it goes. 2 dyno results soon!

PS: The install was fine. I used all the internet guides and my Bro In Law is a champ on the spanners! No real hiss or issues with the flex pipe on the Topspeed headers as yet.
The Fujita CAI install was very fast. Probably 40 minutes from start to finish. He nailed both those tough 10mm bolts on the resonator with ease. I also opened up the plastic fog cover for some cool Ram Air Intake Action (TM)

^^ you just described exactly why I never swapped from the Comptech Icebox - CAI is so damn loud it is ridiculous.
