    Hey mate,
Second hand shocks and springs are always risky as you don't know the abuse they've had in their life.
As for the koni yellows I would highly recommend them i've got them on my car they are height and damper adjustable and a very good improvement over stock.
The springs are king springs which aren't really top of the line springs which are important for your cars handling.
I've got eibach springs and I think they are very good.
If I were you I would save up some cash and get a set of new koni yellow and come good quality springs you'll definately feel a difference in your cars handling.
    Cheers.

$500 seems expensive for it. A couple of hundred more and you could get news ones I think...from reading what some of the guys have posted.

Yeah you could get brand new koni yellows for not much more than what the 2nd springs and shocks are going to cost you.

u in melb dude ? if so.. go Donnellans (Bridgestone) Box Hill they have Koni springs brand new installed, wheels aligned and good to go for $425. Not sure if yellow colour, though.

or u could take the alternate option of king springs superlows for $350

they're the quotes I got but give them a call on 9899 9843 first.

koni yellows are shocks not springs.. i think the best price for them exc fitting is around the 800 mark

i can see there are still no bids. i would just wait until the next time he relists it.

i remember a set of 4 koni yellow (for my accord), even at $300 no one bid for them. not sure why, but there are always risks when buying second hand shocks - be prepared to have them rebuilt, altho with konis, probably not as often.

also depends on how he drove with them - if on the hardest setting for the whole time, faster wear and tear on the internal components.

Koni yellows are definitely value for money. I have them on my teg with whiteline control springs and they work very well for me on the track and as a daily car.

you will be surprised at how comfortable the soft settings are and how stiff the hard settings can get.

My advice is the same as others - Get a new set.

If you don't mind, you can do like what I did. I got a set of Bilstein BTS kit that comes with shocks and springs from the US for around 920 delivered. They're brand new but the only thing is you gotta wait at least 3-4 weeks. I just got them yesterday and havent installed them yet. They're not adjustables though.
