Just installed Buddy Club N+

So i just installed my new suspension. Everything went well and i'm loving the results. Only issue was that unlike the stock suspension there was no bracket to attach the brake line to on the front pair. It seems like it's not a big deal. It's just some sort of guide... I was thinking about just using a zip tie on each side?

Anyone else run into this problem?

use a big strong cable/zip tie. It works , just keep the brake line OFF the driveshaft or moving parts. But its technically illegal.

To pass rego / blueslip / defect you would need to make up a custom bracket for it to connect to. Logically you could make something small for the 14mm fork bolt ( on the side)

go buy stock ones man from wreckers. not safe without them man. im sure u had stock ones from ur stock sussy. if u cant get it out use a flat head screwed and a hammer and bang it hard out.

It really did seem like it was part of the shock and wouldn't come off... I've got a strong zip tie on each side at the moment. I don't see how they're going anywhere.

i heard the new N+ had the guides, i wanna check mine now, got them put in 2 months ago

N+ do NOT have the holders for the brake line. You cannot re-use the brake line holder either. So , you need to make something up to be 100% safe and legal.

imo just make a bracket, and then take the bottom (where the coilover bolts onto the control arm) sleeve completely off (so you dont boil the coilover lol) and weld a bracket on?

you can do this ~ but be careful as the bottom sleeve is anodized and might be alittle difficult to weld and finish properly

i don't know why so many coilovers are made without these brackets...

lol, to keep the cost down? can't weld on a measly bracket?

pretty lame for buddy club. even d2s have their own brackets n all..

i think u can buy already made brackets for aftermarket coilovers from repco etc. i think bludger brought some awhile back.
