Thanks. Ive seen that thread. I prefer not to permanently cut anything off. Just want to know if any FD bros out there who has done this. Just want to know the result whether its worth doing. I have mentioned this in the noob section before but answers were from non FD owners.

Yes will do, if its not a good enough price meaning alot cheaper then the mugen one i will probably just buy the mugen.

Modulo is cheaper than Mugen. You could get the modulo set (front, side, rear, spoiler) for about $2000-$2500 from Honda. Mugen you will need to order from importer and itll be around $3500-$4000 both painted. Mugen has an extra piece of bodykit which is the front grille.
A replica kit will cost around $1200 and about $500 to paint. But i dont know anyone who sells replicas in Aus.
I would go for the mugen look if you have the money. At the time when i bought my car, i didnt think of the mugen kit. Just got too excited with the car and bought the modulo kit.

I have pics on Page 49 of this thread, they fit really well. The shop that painted and fitted it for me said it was surprisingly easy fit for a replica. He lives in syd so if u still want his contact then pm me.

    hey fellas,
is there a way to somehow securely attach the Red Honda type R badge to the Honda Mugen Grill? I understand the red type R badge fits properly on the original factory grill cause of the holes but would 3M tape be the only way on the new grill? Most modified Honda Civic 8th gen cars I've seen with the Mugen grill seem to have no emblems or labels on at all, which to me looks completely ridiculous! Especially if you've just purchased the pricey Red badges and can't find a place to stick the front one.

i dont have the link, but theres some guy on ebay that sells the grille badge holder. It basically looks like a flat piece of metal with 2 screws on the bank. You screw that onto the grille then stick any badge onto the flat piece of metal. From memory it costs around $20 fully shipped. I was thinking of getting one for a mugen badge but i think some moron will come and rip it off and possibly damage your mesh grille as well

or maybe try to stick in on the front bumper or the edge of hood?

mugen grille without emblem coz it's replica, but if u get good and fine replica, it also comes with the emblem, i sold mine comes with mugen emblem.
it's depend where u get it.

if u want put red badge onto mugen grille, the only way is put the strong silicon glue behind red badge, and force to stick onto mugen mesh grill (do it properly and tidy). during drying, put sticky tape across red badge to mesh/mugen grill. hope it's work.
