    Tyre Damage

    Hey all.

Was driving around a couple of days ago and hit the kerb coming around a round-a-bout, taking a minor chunk out of the side of my tyre.

It isn't too much, but whats the go in situations like this? Should I replace the tyre?

    etc. etc.

    Thanks!

yes lol. same thing happened to me coz i had bulging sidewalls from 195/60/15 profiles...

it'll be the weakest point in the tyre... next bump/compression/pot hole will possibly cause burst in that area

    Shit >.<"

It's not TOO much damage, only reason I'm hesitating to get a new tyre and all that is they were new as of a week ago =[

Give it a test for a while and just monitor it.
Make sure your spare has air
I reckon it will be sweet.

Was testing it out last night, it didn't seem too bad.

I mean, there wasn't a noticeable difference in steering/feeling of it.

    Paranoid much -_-?

^^^yep same... tad different story with fronts though as your fronts will suffer more of an impact than the rears.

    Awesome.

Had a tyre-dude check it out, he said it'd be fine to drive on, as long as I don't do speeds >120km/h or what not.
