The K20Z (DC5S), is just an normal update of say the K20 engine. Therefore you would assume they would have tinkered with it to gain some torque/kw.

Without getting too much into it. The K20Z (DC5S) would probably have different cams, maybe not the K20A (JDM Type R) but would be very similar.

To have a fair comparison, you need to run both cars (DC5R/CD5S) back to back on same dyno, to get a true and fair comparison.

We did do that at the Belgarage dyno day last year, the type r's did about 108 to 112 (3 R's went b4 me) my S got 128.4 stock
