    The e-manage harness has gone to extra steps to connect the purple wire..

    will cutting the purple still allow the e-mange to change VTEC crossover?

    all the purple wire is meant to do is stop the engine light coming on on an OBD1 car.

    mate i totally stuffed up that relay, the VTP is a naturally closed switch. Try this;
    30 and 85 ground
    86 light blue
    87a purple

    at that point do I join...

    Not sure why though...

    Got my car back from getting the HG changed and everythings working fine..

    No error code and VTec works via e-manage
