    with 21k you can get a good k24 civic going - even non k20 head, and still run easy low 12's.. look at Yonas car

    ask him how much he spent on it? Running low 12's is hard. There is a member on here with a BIG K motor with over 170kw atw in a EK civic b4 and was hitting high 12's.

    It all comes down to weight and sussy set up and traction. get that right and even the lesser powered engines will perform.

    Running low 12s is not easy . Im still struggling to get my gear ratio , slicks size etc correct before I can hit 11.99 sec.

    The K20A is a far better option then the 20/24 swap. Look at pauls EG, 12.3 - 12.5 on streets. IMO the 20/24 isnt as good.

    bigger displacement equals more torque, which they need to lug there fat a55es around. hence bigger engine.
