Anyone with performance mods willing to share their fuel consumption figures? Since I modded up my car I hardly ever think about fuel economy and always exploits the power. But I am surprised I still get a reasonable efficiency. Thumbs up for i-vtec!

Nah dude, i live in sydney and do mostly peak hour driving to and from work in the city. as someone else mentioned, light throttle, keep it in the 1800rpm to 2500rpm band. dont load up the boot with crap, and keep your tyre pressures 10 - 15% above the placard reading.

Picked up my 6MT Euro on Friday, buzzed around town a bit, then took it Canb - Sydney and back, was averaging 6.9 ltrs per hungee, odometer hasnt hit 1000 kays yet. Very impressed with it! Speeds were between 110 and 120 GPS.

The secret is to short shift (i.e. keep revs below 2000rpm) and use quarter throttle. Just be sure to not let the engine get too bogged down.
lol i think i'd die if i had to drive like that

Euros are awesome for the longer drives, nice easy long distance drive to. peolple might say suspension is alittle to soft but for long cruises they are awesome., i've got to as low as 6.5 per 100ks going up to port mac, thats the lowest ive been to, back now with 50/50 highway and city driving, (M4 sux tho) i average 8.2

Must be somthing about Port. as I too have done 6.5l/100k's there and back.

With the jtune xtreme prototype (yes, still waiting) I'm getting, over the past 6,000k's with the xtreme fitted............

    Around town 9.2-9.5
    Trip, highway 6.5-7.2
    Overall Hwy70%/30%Town 8.4l/100k's

I tend to drive around town in fifth due to the increase in torque.

NOTE:It also depends on what fuel you get i was using BP ultimate.

Canberra to Sydney (into the CBD) I managed 6.8L/100km. On the way back it was 7.0L/100km. I guess it's uphill all he way back.
