Thanks gerard for the diy! I might actually do it when I have time.
Btw, where do I get that module from? Or will I have to make that myself too?

is a panel have 12 SMD/SMT/High power LED - so many name for these next generation LED.

the 12 smd pcb measure 0.09A x 12 = 1.08w - my interior
the 6 smd pcb measure 0.04A x 12 = 0.48w - my boot, the stock glass holder wont big enough for the 12 smd pcb, but 6 smd pcb fits perfect
compare the the stock 0.41A x 12 = 5w bulb much less power

Applio: I wouldnt mind making my boot brighter. At the moment, i have a strip of LEDs in the boot installed near the rear for better lighting. Interior, i like mine dim. Gives a nice mood feel
but i do store heaps of stuff in my boot, and sometime in the carpark i just cant find where i want because is too dimmmmmm

i've recently installed philips blue visions into my fd1, they seem to be sufficient. Not as good as the HID's i had before but atleast they're ADR approved and legal
my parkers are also blue visions but they're more yellow than white, anyone know which bulbs are best for a whiter colour?
SMD bulb is what you need

i tried "1" "4" and "7" LED bulb in the number plate, because all led are focus light on forward, and the design of the number plate is sideway, all not much effect/bright
but the smd bulb, since the beam pattern look like this.

best i used so far, the light pattern can reflect on the number plate and bright/white

W00t... it's been along time coming... but finally my first mod!
MTEC halogen H.I.D (yeah i know... not real HID) cosmic blue/white bulbs in the low beams!
Got them from a trader here. Looks ok in the garage... but won't really comment till I've taken them for a test drive... maybe tomorrow evening.
Just need parkers now too... I realised white/blue halogens look a little funnny next to white/yellow halogens.
Ah... now for the exhaust :P
