    black strips on side of car

    hey guys n girls... have any of you heard of a product called CarPlan Black Trim wax. Any good?? I got it given to me to fix the black plastic side strips on my civic cos they have faded... does any one know anything i could use incase this doesnt work?? thanks

    i personally havent heard of it, but if you plan on getting the strips paitned in the future, im pretty sure that you wont be able to do it, as they have the wax applied.

    I used show polish.. worked for me!.. just sharing some info..

    to blacken the strips and stuff the tyre shine stuff is also an alternative.
    they can be used on plastic strips etc.

    There is a product called "Forever Black".

    Looks and applies like shoe polish.

    Whilst the product claims to get great results after a single application, I found it needed three or four separate applications over a period of a couple of months.

    Follow that with a coat of 303 Aerospace as part of regular maintenance and the results are OK.

    hey everyone... i used that carplan black trim wax i had and reccommend it highly.. would be so much easier that resprayin them.. i did it two days ago have got them wet and everything and they still havent faded,, obviously they will over time.. but it works just fine and looks great... for an easy quick solution...
