    stock EG6 vs stock DC2R ?

Get AUDM DC2R. Its atleast 5 years newer and slightly stiffer rates (heavier car)

Fightex...but otherwise Koni Yellows and DC2R springs.

Seriously, are you buying these shocks 2nd hand? how old are they and how many kays on them? How much as well?

Both of these on your EG require you to change your rear LCA.

But can i use some aftermarket LCA other than the DC2R one?
If so. What should i ask for, the Eg LCA or DC2R LCA?

    afaik eg6 and dc2r lca's are the same(eyelet)
regular eg and dc2/4 lca's are fork type ones

unless you want to change your lca you'd get non-eg6 ones or dc2/4 but not dc2r

Eg6 and DC2R rear LCAs are the same. If you want an aftermarket one, check out the ones being sold by Yonas at JDMYard who is an Ozhonda Trader (look under the trader's section) - Function 7 - Really really nice looking ones.

EG6 and DC2-R are NOT the same.. yes they have the same eyelets etc but there's about 4-5mm difference in length - it effects the camber etc. so go DC2-R as EG6 will give you some positive camber FTL.

also some EG6/9/EG1 LCA's do and dont have eyelets for SWay bars.. DC2-R will have the eyelets for sway bars as well as holes to facilitate the ABS lines.

Can you find some more info on this....

I have a EG civic - i run DC2R rear LCA's. They were measured same distance @ bushes as stock.
If i ran EG6 LCA's - they would be exactly the same hence on a EG as well. Same dimensions chassis and subframe area....

Are you sure you arent mixed up with EF8 ones ?

nah I know what you mean - i've had the EF8 items also - had to 'bore-out' the eyelets to fit the EG6 shocks etc.. as far as MY EXPERIENCE goes, the EG6 items were a little shorter - just a few mm.. but otherwise the same as DC2-R except most of the EG6/9's out there dont have ABS so the DC2-R will all have little holes to fix the ABS lines / wiring to the LCA.

one thing to note is as these parts are all very similar to look at - your wreckers can tend to get them mixed up - I was sold EF8/EF9 LCA's as being EG6 the first time round and only after I had a DEFINATE set of dType R LCA's that I noticed the differences and when i had one side EG6 an one side DC2-R, the slight difference in length made a noticable difference in the camber

I will pick the DC2R suspension with the LCA to my EG, but can I also install the aftermarket SwayBar and Subframe without any mods? Also what shouls I ask for EG or DC2R SwayBar and Subframe??? PLs help me, coz it saves a bit of money if I install all parts at once......
