so im shopping around for some auto electricians, dunno if theres any mobile ones that can come around my place...

anyways i`ll find out wat needs to be done by wed when i pick the car up
Why don't you just get them to fix the "electrical problems" it while its there?

If theres an electrical problem that is remotely related to the wiring for any of the sensors that they're looking to replace that could be causing the problem.

I realise that dealer service costs a lot of money, but it sounds like your spending a lot of money in time going to different people who just say take it to a dealer to be repaired....

Either way i hope you get the problem sorted as hesitations are the most annoying thing to deal with.

thats wat it did to my car...they replaced the egr valve for $470 inc labor and everything is fine...

i asked them how much to get it repaird too, but they werent interested in doing my business and referred me to a auto electrician, i only need the interior boot hatch light and auto window switch looked at..

    which is my next step...

Dragging up the past here, sorry.
$470, WOW, they charge like real euro car dealers do.
Where on the Jazz 1.3 engine is the EGR valve located. Don't want to get the wrong bit off. Haven't tooled around with the Jazz much yet but have done heaps of euro repairs/restos over the years so not a mechanical nubie.
Are the EGR valves available aftermarket at anywhere like pertoject or aussie-fuel injection?
Will give this one a clean first if the fault comes up as that tomorrow when I check it.
Will keep all informed of my findings.
